This beautiful artificial lake was made recently and (fortunately) it is not yet well known. The mountains that surround it are covered by pine forests. Around the lake shores there are many places suitable for camping. It is an ideal place for combining a nature trip and r/c sailing.

It is located on close to the county boundaries of
Korinthos and Achaia, between the mountains of Ziria and Helmos, at 1100m above see level. The trip from Athens is about 180 Km. There are two alternative routes: via Kiato, Stimfalia lake, Kastania, Ancient Feneos or via the Athens-Patras highway, taking the exit to Derveni and via the mountainous road of Steno, Goura, Mesino, New Feneos and Ancient Feneos.
